I Want My Life To Be Happy!

A happy life, that’s all we’re really looking for isn’t it?  Doesn’t seem like too much to ask but somehow we were never taught how to achieve this state of mind.  Whether it’s your job that’s causing your misery or not, you can take measures to change your reality immediately.

Start simple; wake up tomorrow morning and smile.   It’s been proven through research that just the ACT of smiling creates a better mood.   Seriously, give it a try.  Actually, try it right this very minute…smile with your entire face, don’t just fake it.  Do you feel the difference it creates in your perception of this moment?  Feels better already, doesn’t it.

Just the sense of realizing that you can take control of your happiness is the first step towards being happy in your work life.  Applying the skills you learn in the near future to the approach you take in your daily work will make a huge difference in how you enjoy your job.  Begin with YOU, emotionally and physically, only then will you know if it’s even necessary to blame your work for your unhappiness.
